This is Mrs. Cipriani's classroom management board in her room; it's got the job chart, behavior chart, class rules, a calendar, and even the daily schedule. She is a very organized teacher that feels as though everything in her classroom has a spot, and should be in that spot by the end of the day when the kids are doing their "jobs".

This is the same side of the classroom, you just couldn't see it by the first picture. The rocking chair is where Mrs. Cipriani or I sat when we were reading to the kids, and this corner shows all different kinds of reading strategies for the children to help them become better readers. I really love how she has her classroom set up.

How to become a better reader, Beginning, middle, and end, how to get help during the workshop; there is so much information for her students to write better, and I definitely saw a major increase of the fluency and flow of their writing from the beginning of my 6 weeks there and then at the end.
This picture shows a part of her word wall. She has all of the consonants as fish, and then the vowels are all starfish. Every book they read, they add words that should be apart of the word wall, since the words up here are words that you should know what they mean and how to spell them. This is a huge advantage for the kids because they can look at the wall if they don't know how to spell a word as opposed to waiting for the teacher to get to them. And every two weeks of so, they have a quiz with the words on the wall for spelling and if they know the definitions. Such a cute, yet simple idea.
